An important part is setting the ‘Haft Seen’ table which is translated as “seven Ss” there are 7 things that start with “s” in Farsi that go on the table. In some counties they will light bonfires, dancing traditional dances like the “Halparke,” feasting on special foods like “haft mewa” (seven fruits), and engaging in cultural activities such as poetry readings and storytelling.
